Bush Approval Ratings Fall Again

Bush’s Approval Rating Continues to Slide

I believe in God. I believe in the perfection of the Law of Attraction.

For many, many months, I’ve been contemplating what’s really going on with how I feel about the Bush Administration and the horrific directions it’s taken the United States in the past 4 years. I never understood how his approval ratings—especially on his handling of the situation in Iraq—could be so high. I did not understand how so many people could have chosen to actually provide him with 4 more years in office. It created confusion and anger in my life. I was absolutely voracious towards other’s opinions if they differed from my own. And my anger began bringing things I did not “want” into my life…the Law of Attraction at work.

Suddenly I decided I needed to take a different approach for my own sake. I decided that despite what other’s thought, I would focus only on what I do want in my life. I want freedom. I want a fantastic economy. I want peace. I want people to realize what’s being done to our freedom, our environment, and our bank accounts, and to start reacting in whatever way they see fit that would bring about change. This approach seems to be working for me…

Cindy Sheehan began her protest outside of Bush’s ranch while he was on vacation (again). Gas prices soared. People began to become irritated—not just with the Bush Administration’s handling of the war in Iraq, but their handling (or mishandling) of the economy. Their disrespect for the environment, and their absolute hypocrisy when it comes to the so-called “Culture of Life”. Bush’s approval ratings began to fall. And fall. And fall. And they continue to fall—even with the mainstream media (Liberal Media? Yeah, right!) lack of focus on the Iraq disaster, the economy, the environment, and especially “Treasongate.”

Several different polls now show the lowest approval for the President’s handling of (everything). Some are at 45% approval, some at 40%, and one was at an amazing 36%. And these are overall approvals. When we get to specifics, such as the handling of the war in Iraq and the war on terror, and whether or not we feel safer…the numbers are even worse for the Bush Administration. People are awakening. As a democracy, our country is not perfect. We can be fooled. We can believe lies, especially when their presented in such a way that we the people feel we’re under attack. But, it simply cannot be sustained. As the truth pours out, it starts to ignite the fires of opposition. The truth begins to spread. It permeates everything, just like light in a dark room…or water in New Orleans (I know…bad analogy…sorry). Stories may come along to distract us—but we’re beyond the point of no return for the Bush Administration. We’ve reached that tipping point, a line in the sand (yes, another bad analogy), a point where  the people will stand up and say…

“We’re taking back our country now. Thank you very much.”

And in 2006, barring any major lies or spinning by this Administration, we will watch the collapse of the Far Right as we watch the election returns come in. And in 2008 (if not sooner, since I believe Bush will be forced to resign before then), the Republican Rule—the neo-con, bordering on Fascist State rule—will end. For many, many years. There is a light…the truth…and it shall set us free.
